  • SCREEN SIZE

Smart phones as of late have begun to increase in size since the intro of the iPhone. Starting with devices like the Htc Evo 4g with a 4.3 inch screen smart phone screen sizes have grown dramatically, but the question I ask is when is a screen to big? Personally I love a large screen! I’ve had most large display devices from Htc, and Samsung including the galaxy s line of devices currently I’m using an iPhone 5, and although the screen is finally bigger. I still find myself missing the 4.5+ inch displays, I think I’ve been spoiled by devices like the Samsung galaxy note 1 and 2 but with that large size does come draw backs, for example battery life and pocketablity. I can’t wait for the day when I can buy a 5.5inch display with a 3300+ battery don’t get me wrong they are making improvements with battery tech and display tech but most large phones still can’t get me through a day of use. So my questions to you guys are,
    1. What phone do you currently use
    2. Do you wish you had a bigger screen
    3. How big is to big

  • SMART WATCHES, DO WE NEED THEM

Smart watches seem to be a growning fad right now but honestly, do we need them? Hi guys this is Zo from Zo’s tech review! I’d like to talk about smart watches today, personally I think they lean on the side of being a gimmick, who really needs a smart watch? I know I don’t, I’m pretty sure that’s what a smart phone is for! Would you need a two year contract for your watch? My question to you is, would you buy a smart watch and why or why not

  • HTC ONE

the HTC one is here and it looks like a real flagship device with hardware/design that rivals that of the iPhone 5 specs listed in the post below! And so far it looks like US availability will happen in march with AT&T, SPRINT, and T-MOBILE being the first carriers to carry the device “pricing and availability dates soon to come”

  • The BlackBerry Z10 has been announced for awhile now, and I’d like to share a few quick thoughts on the new Crown Jewel of BlackBerry (Formally known as RIM).  First: DESIGN
In my opinion the overall hardware design of the BlackBerry Z10 is quite nice, much better than the mostly plastic devices that we see from the Android world, but I feel (and again this is my opinion) that the overall design of this device falls short of what we have seen from the WP8, and Apple Camps, although one could argue that the BlackBerry Z10 has pulled some design cues from the iPhone. Either way this is a great beginning to a new BlackBerry.  Second: APPS
70,000 plus apps at launch is a great way to start a new/redesigned platform even if most of them are Android carbon copies But I’d like to see more featured (big time) apps like Instagram etc.
Third: PRICING
This part is a little odd for me $199.99 (which is the speculated US price) is Normally reserved for the high end class of smartphone, which the BlackBerry Z10 is without a doubt, however, BlackBerry is up against the ropes and needs this to be a huge success. The question that I assume a lot of people will be asking is, “why would I pay 200 for a BlackBerry when I could buy a iPhone or Samsung galaxy s3 (or s4 when it’s released) for the same price” I’m no marketing wiz but I’d Price this thing at $99.99 because that would help people at least take a look at the BlackBerry Z10. I just fear that at the current rumored price point the phone won’t be given a chance, and the only people that buy will be diehard BlackBerry users and I’m sorry but that’s not enough!I know I skipped software I’m saving that for its own post after all it is completely new  Above image source: www.blackberry.com  THANKS FOR READING!
